McKesson Practice Partner is pleased to announce the release of Patient Records and Appointment Scheduler 9.5.2 SP1.
If you have already installed 9.5.2, please install the 9.5.2 SP1 update as soon as possible as it corrects a number of issues found in the previous releases. What’s New with the release of Practice Partner 9.5.2 Service Pack 1?
The new Practice Partner patch deployment method allows you to quickly and easily update your Practice Partner system, add-on products, and interfaces with the latest updates, bug fixes and / or features. With just a few clicks, you can begin the patch download and installation and the rest of the process is automatic. New Feature included in the Patient Records and Appointment Scheduler 9.5.2 SP1:
Patient Records – Revised Advanced Beneficiary Notice of Noncoverage (ABN) – the latest Advanced Beneficiary Notice of Noncoverage (ABN), Form CMS-R-131; the revised ABN replaces the ABN-G, ABN-L, and NEMB forms. For more information, visit https://www.cms.gov/BNI/02_ABN.asp

- • Clinical Encounters – Clinical Encounter deleted when importing an update through PPConnect
• Prescriptions – Entering “PRN†in the Duration field
• PPRNet Extract Utility – Extracting Clinical Elements
• ePrescribing Module – Error message when transmitting a prescription
• ePrescribing Module – Summary screen displays medications that are not getting transmitted
• ePrescribing Module – Medication instructions entered in the Extended Signature area of the Prescription screen are truncated in the output.xml file if Duration is included for a medication
• ePrescribing Module – The “Directions†column of the Prescription Summary screen fails to included the medication’s duration
• ePrescribing Module – PCN included in Rx eligibility responses
• ePrescribing Module – Indication that additional fill history is available for a patient
