Did you look at the Primary Insurance Aging report?

I have a custom version of the Primary Insurance Aging the lets you put in a date range. Be warned, the reports are not accurate when run for a date range, that is why eMDs changed the reports to run with an "as of" date on version 15. The report is yours "as is" for $45. Private message me if you want it.

The good news is Medisoft version 21 is going to have a balance write-off tool. I would suggest getting on this version and utilizing this tool when it is ready.

Archive is not recommended. The process is slow and you might get a 10% gain in performance, if you even notice anything at all.

Gavin,
When I run the aging report I get outstanding claims from previous years - do I zero out those outstanding claims so they will not show up? Thanks so much for your help I inherited this job with no training........training myself!

Create a write-off adjustment to zero out the remaining amount if you no longer wish to pursue that A/R. Version 21 is coming out with a tool to automate this process.

Hello Gavin,
I am also missing the insurance aging report that was in prior versions of Medisoft with a beginning and ending date. Do you know if V21 has this report?
Thanks
Bob

No Medisoft v21 does not have this report, but it does have an A/R write-off utility. If you are wanting to run with a date range because you have a bunch of old A/R to write off, then you should consider upgrading.

Gavin,
In my state there is a timely filing rule of one year for claims, even if the original claim was file at time of service, the resubmission has to filed within one year of service. Therefore I would like to be able to remove insurance claims from the aging report after 18 months of service date. We still have the ability to collect patient fees for up to ten years so I don't want to remove those line items. I saw you made up a report to show aging claims with a beginning and ending date. With the ability of your report and V21, what would be the best way to get this affect?
Thanks
Bob

I have a Primary Insurance Aging with a date range. Yours "as-is" for $45. The report was never accurate, even on v14 when you run it with a date range. That is why they took the date range out on v15.
