medisoft v20 with clearinghouse

Hi there!
Thank you for providing this resource. I recently upgraded to Medisoft v20 and my provider wants to use Trizetto for clearinghouse, but it seems like I need a third party software in order to make the connection and upload files. Is this correct? Where do I find appropriate solutions? It seems like there is so little information available. I see someone suggested Office Ally, someone else, Simple 837. I am not sure about any of this and do not want to make a costly mistake.

Hi Jean, you don't need to purchase any extra modules to submit claims through Trizetto. In fact, if you private message me or call our office, we can provide FREE setup to send ANSI 5010 electronic claims through Trizetto. And, if you sign up for the electronic remittance service at Trizetto and if you have Medisoft Advanced or Network Pro, then we can also setup automatic remittance posting into Medisoft for FREE. I think you will like the portal at Trizetto much better than Office Ally. Simple837 is "simply" an unnecessary purchase. You would also have to purchase SimpleERA to do electronic remittance posting and all of that functionality is already built into Medisoft, so why pay for and maintain these add-on modules?
